It seems that whatever I do. I seem to be chasing my tail.
Laundry is continuous, I’m constantly making food and then clearing up. I never seem to stop. Dishes to be done and then put the away. Tidying up the toys after the kids play. So when do I get a chance to sit down and drink a hot cup of coffee? I don’t!
I’ve become accustomed to drinking my coffee cold and tea and pretty much everything else including food you name it.
So when I go to a friend’s house and they make me coffee I tend to take some time to drink it because they serve it hot and expect me to drink it straight away. I can’t seem to do that any more. I have to wait for it to cool down or I have plenty of milk.
I thought when my youngest started school I would have more time to clean up.
I don’t mean my house is dirty I just haven’t had the time to get rid of all the clutter that seems to be here. I seem to empty one room and it seems to move into another. it’s not really getting rid of it then is it. my progress on eBay has been rather slow I would like it to be a lot faster than this. I do have a plan however for the next 12 months and how I’m going to get through. It may not work as well as I would like. at least this way I should have a good go at getting through it.
I think that’s why I like Twitter is very short sweet and I can keeps little updates of the day today little faster than making it through however writing a large blog post I don’t ever seem to have the full time to get it done I have several done ready to post but they all need finishing touches to make it worthwhile. That is why there seems to be such a long gap between my last posts. I would like to change that in the next 12 months.
One thing is for certain though, I am getting more things done but not as much as I thought. Two hours a day is just not enough to do everything in. So I need to start planning everything out and doing my best to stick to it.
I’ve started with a new look to my website and next I’m going to be sorting the categories and tags. The reason for this is this blog was started because I had full intention of just watching my progress of sorting out this house. The more I think about “Clearing Up My Home” the more I have come to realise that it is a lot more than just the physical things like the clutter that needs to go.
